Jan 17 Third Annual Ice Carving Event - The
Titanic Museum
Come watch the world’s most celebrated ice
sculptors chisel 250-pound blocks of ice
into fantastic designs. This free one-day
event is held in Titanic’s outdoor
entertainment center (at the ship’s bow).

Jan 31 Masters Fishing Tournament - Lilleys'
Landing Resort and Marina on Lake
TaneycomoThe entry fee is $50 for each
two-person team. The rules of the tournament
require artificial baits only and it is
catch-and-release tournament as well. Cash
prices and trophies will be award to the top
four teams. The teams with the heaviest
brown and rainbow trout are awarded Big
Trout Cash Prizes.
Feb 1-28 "Sweetheart Month" at the Titanic
Museum
The entire month of February is Titanic's
Valentine tribute to romance and the lasting
love of devoted couples everywhere. Last
year, 1,948 couples renewed their wedding
vows during Sweetheart Month. Held in
elegant style on Titanic"s Grand Staircase,
every ceremony is presided over by the
ship’s captain. Reservations are required.
To keep the romance alive and steer clear of
icebergs, we recommend immediate

Feb 1 Four Chaplains Sunday - Location to be
announced. A ceremony to honor the four
chaplains of the U.S.A.T. Dorchester. The
four heroic chaplains gave up their life
jackets to the troops and stood arm in arm
praying as the ship sank out of sight.
Feb 9 15th Annual Hot Winter Fun Big Show -
Jim Stafford Theater at 7pm. This show
features a wide variety of shows that are
open throughout the year in Branson in one
exciting night. Many shows and entertainers
will be there to welcome you to Hot Winter
Fun 2009!.
Feb 14 2009 Polar Bear Plunge - Stillwaters
Resort
Registration at 12pm, the Plunge at 2pm.
Plungers are asked to raise a “BEAR” minimum
of $50 will all proceeds going to Special
Olympics Missouri Southwest Area. Online
registration has already begun. Be a Fan of

Feb 28 Team Trout Championship - Lilleys'
Landing Resort and Marina
The entry fee is $50 for each two-person

Parties - The Titanic Museum
Seating is limited and reservations are
required. Much to the delight of mothers and
daughters, the most popular and successful
of all Titanic special events returns for
its third year—the Titanic Princess Tea
Party. This celebration of proper etiquette,
manners and style is modeled after the
formal tea rituals of the Titanic era. Each
young lady will receive a two-hour
"crash-course” on the dos and don'ts of
classic, social behavior.

April 11 Persian Gulf War Cease Fire - This
day commemorates the Official Cease Fire in
1991 of the Persian Gulf War and will be
dedicated to the soldiers who served in Iraq
during Desert Shield and Desert Storm.
April 11 Area '57 Cruise In & Drive-In Movie
Night - Dick Clark's Area 57
AREA '57 is host to the "AREA '57 Cruise-In
& Drive-In presented by American National
Insurance" event, a cruise-in like no other
in the Midwest. Our Cruise-In and Drive-In
concept takes the ordinary, boring cruise-in
to the next level! AREA '57 Cruise-In's &
Drive-In's will feature all the activities
the car enthusiasts have come to enjoy;
games, music and great food, but with the
bonus of a FREE Drive-In Movie for them to
enjoy before heading home. The best part is
this FREE event is open to both the owners
of classic and custom cars AND those who
enjoy them. AREA '57 will feature the "B”
movie classics of the 60"s and 70’s as well

Artist Contest - Legends Theater
3:00pm; competition will begin at 7:00pm.
Legends in Concert and Elvis Presley
Enterprises are excited to announce the 2009
return date for the 3rd annual “Ultimate
Elvis Tribute Artist Contest”. The Branson
contest is one of only a select few tribute
competitions sanctioned by Elvis Presley
Enterprises, Inc. around the world. There
will also be an Elvis Festival held April
16-18, 2009.

The Branson Air Show celebrates the grand
opening of the new Branson Airport.
Highlights include: United States Air Force
Demonstration Squadron -- better known as
the "Thunderbirds"; U.S. Army Parachute Team
"Golden Knights"; world-class aviation
performers such as AeroShell Aerobatic Team,
John Mohr, Michael Goulian, Gene Soucy &
Teresa Stokes Wing Walking, Iron Eagles,
Patty Wagstaff and more; Warbird
demonstrations with pyrotechnics; static
aircraft displays including: The Sea Fury,
B-17, B-25, P-47, P-51, Ford Tri-Motor and

the Hills Homestead
The Super Summer Cruise is the premier car
event in Branson, Missouri held annually
during the second weekend in August. It
features the Show'n'Shine with over 500 cars
